No Snow Day....

Going to sleep last night I was really hoping for a snow day.  Especially considering that I could hardly sleep because of the noisy snow plows scraping the roads, it sounded worse than nails on a chalkboard.  For those of you in Utah, I know nothing closes because of snow.  Here in New York it's a little different.  When there is significant snow my work closes. Not today though... there was a lot of snow, but I still had to go to work...

Oh well, on the plus side, Scott comes home Saturday-Sunday!

Creak...Creak...

I'm at work and it is so windy today that I'm afraid this is what I'll be hearing all day---creak....creak...  It kind of makes you feel like you are on a ship getting seasick.  You can't really feel the building move, but the sound tricks you into thinking you can.  I think this is going to drive me a little crazy but I guess that's what you get when you work in a tall building.

Morning Fog

Yesterday morning I was getting ready for work and Scott says, "Ashley, you have to see this!"  I walk over to the window, and this was the view outside with the fog over the river.  It was so cool!  Just thought I'd share. 

Rainy Day

Do you remember in elementary school how you had a "Rainy Day Box" that you brought with things to do in it when it rains and you have to stay inside?  I was just thinking about this memory at work because today is a "Rainy Day Box" kind of day.

The weather man said 58 degrees today!

Today is going to be a good day! Too bad I'm couped up in the office... I have missed the sun. Going to church yesterday reminded me what I've been missing, feeling the sun on my face. I'm so excited for Spring!

Brrr, it's not too cold over here!

I thought it has been cold here in New York City being in the mid 50's to low 60's.... but, then I looked at the weather in Utah... 46 degrees today! Brr.... makes me cold just thinking about it. For all of you in Utah---I wish you luck!
