Shavin' Haven is open!
Shavin' Haven is open! (hopefully I spelled that right) It's the best shaved ice place around--much better than Snowie or Rainbow Snow. This is my free advertisement for them because it is that good.
We have been waiting a long time for it to open up. When I saw it was open, I started screaming and Scott thought I was crazy. I called up my mom and told her--which they were all very happy to hear the news.
You may be thinking---what is all the fuss about a snow cone place. I will tell you:
1. A small snow cone costs $2.00 and they are giant! I could never eat bigger than a small
2. If you save the flower cup they give you each time you bring your own you get 50 cents off of your snow cone. So a small is really $1.50
3. Their flavors are really good: my fav's are pina colada and pineapple
4. It's very close--just by 7-eleven in Kaysville

ReplyDeleteThey look like these snow cones we had in Hawaii, and those were the best ever! I will for sure have to try it.
ReplyDeleteThis is sucha great post. I LOVE snowcone shacks.... we don't have any in Arizona, sadly. There was a place like this in Provo that I used to go to every morning after class. It became such an addition.
